Times are tight, everyone is tense and you may feel like you have little control over your life.  Here’s some advice:

Find three friends.  Have one grab his guitar, another grab his bass, and sit one behind a drum kit.  Ask your guitar wielding friends to plug in and keep turning up their amps until the feedback is making the windows rattle and the low rumble could be mistaken for seismic activity.  Tell your other friend that you’ll buy him a new set of drum heads because you want him to pound the skins so hard that he’ll tear them straight through.  Now stand up, dig deep, gather all of your anger, frustration, worries and angst, let them fill your lungs until you’re certain they’re going to burst.  Get right up on the mic.   On four - all together now - one ear-splitting, defiant shout to let the world know that you sure as hell aren’t going gently into that good night.  One, two, three . . . Rock and roll.
